  8.        Jim Hood is a commercial photographer by training and a computer 
  9.        hobbyist by preference and resides about 3 miles from Seattle, 
  10.        Washington on Mercer Island, a city of about 22,000 people in 
  11.        the middle of scenic Lake Washington. A former coordinator for 
  12.        the Mercer Island Computer Club, Jim divides his time between 
  13.        computer related hobby activities and the operation of Seattle 
  14.        Scientific Photography which produces 35mm lecture/presentation 
  15.        slides for medical and corporate training. Jim attended the 
  16.        University of Sophia in Tokyo, Japan and Seattle University in 
  17.        Seattle.

  19.        PC-Learn has absorbed approximately 1,400 hours of programming, 
  20.        editing and research time. PC-LEARN began as a series of short 
  21.        articles for the Mercer Island Computer Club newsletter and is 
  22.        dedicated to the members of that group.
